Bella a baby-hog?! You bet!!
Common knowledge around our house is that Bella is … a BABY-HOG! That’s right! Whenever Brody is near, she has him in her arms and just won’t let him out unless it is absolutely necessary (which is a rare thing with her!). Back on Mother’s Day we spent the day out at the park with some old friends and Bella was just bursting with pride and joy! See for yourself…

Caught him smiling!
When Brody first started smiling we were all just captivated and thrilled! Then it became a near-obsession to try and capture his smile on camera! The hard part was holding the camera long enough to get that picture instead of setting it down and enjoy more of Brody. But soon his smile was captured … and I’m sure it will capture you!!

Alana’s ACT Results
Gonna toot my “Proud Daddy” horn again!!! 
Just got the results back from the ACT test that Alana took recently. 34 out of 36!!! She knocked it out of the park y’all!!! Another means of makin’ Daddy proud!!
Easter 2011
Got the family together to celebrate Easter along with celebrating Brody’s first month!! Feasted on grilled pork ribs, tater salad, mediterranean salad, grilled corn-on-the-cob, and desserts (peach cobbler and blackberry cobbler)!! After the feast the guys moseyed on back to the “recliner” room to watch some basketball while the ladies got caught up (and played with Brody some!). It was a great day filled with great food and fun with the family!!

Alana – National Merit Scholarship Update
Well I’m gonna take a moment and toot my “Proud Daddy” horn!! 
A little while back, Alana took her PSAT and her score placed her among the highest-scoring students (some 50,000 out of 1.5 million) that entered for the 2012 National Merit Scholarship Program!! Needless to say, she’s been kicking it real good for many years now!! Proud Daddy indeed!
